    Neil is a Food Industry professional with over 40 years’ experience in a number of disciplines including Scientific & Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Production, and Product Development Applications. He has worked for major international companies such as Nestlé, Mondelez (Kraft and Cadbury) in local and regional roles, and across a number of product types including Dairy, Confectionery, Beverages and Savoury foods industries. Neil has formal qualifications in Packaging Technology and Dairy Technology having graduated from the Gilbert Chandler Institute of Dairy Technology in Melbourne. He has also been a qualified Lead Food Safety Auditor. In his previous role as the Senior Manager, Scientific & Regulatory Affairs, for Mondelēz International’s operations in Australia and New Zealand his roles and responsibilities involve significant participation with Government and Trade Associations including representation on Government working groups as an Industry representative. In 2011 Neil was awarded the Alfred Stauder award for outstanding services to the Australia and New Zealand Confectionery Industry, having chaired the Technical Committee for the Australian Industry Group Confectionery sector for 10 years. He also represented Mondelez on the Australian Food & Grocery Council Health, Nutrition & Science committee, the Dairy Australia Nutrition & Regulatory committee and on the Food & Beverage Importers executive. Neil was also an ILSI Trustee in Australia and was previously a Director of the Allergen Bureau Neil operates his own Scientific & Regulatory Affairs consultancy, Putting The Pieces Together and is a Subject Editor for Elsevier Publications on line reference module in Food Science covering Food Trade & Management, Food Policy, and Food Regulations & Enforcement

    Juraj has over 18 years' extensive experience in end to end portfolio and process optimisation specializing in FMCG, product, and packaging development with extensive experience in research and development. He has worked in a wide variety of environments, overseeing large-scale projects and developing talent. For eighteen years, he has travelled the globe, guiding and helping established companies to expand and grow their presence, from pipeline development to product strategy. Juraj has proven track records in the food industry in both technical, innovation, operations and business roles. He's been involved in product launches over 5 continents in 50+ countries. He has focused on product, packaging innovation and margin enhancement and portfolio optimization programs that has led to over $150+ million worth of savings, increased revenue and profits. Inventor of 8P ModelTM for faster commercialisation and a streamlined workplace framework which FAPIC uses in day to day project management to achieve the best end to end results faster. He is a professional committee member of the Product Innovation and Development at the Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology. He holds Doctor of Natural Sciences degree in Analytical Chemistry (RNDr.) from The Comenius University at Bratislava, Slovak Republic. Juraj has a pragmatic approach and creative mind and is known within the food industry for improving existing products and directing new products to market smoothly.

    Georgina Perry
    Food Consultant - Project Manager and Advisor
    Georgina is a food industry professional with over 20 years’ experience in a number of disciplines including Product Development, Supply Chain Strategy and Product Labelling/ Regulatory Compliance. She has worked for both major international companies such as Mondelez (Kraft & Cadbury) and local manufacturers. Georgina is formally qualified with an Honours degree in Food Science from RMIT and has extensive Project Management expertise gained first hand in the industry. In her previous role, based in the US for Mondelez, Georgina was responsible for a large team of R&D professionals and implemented multiple global and regional projects. She is equally capable of delivering new products or optimising existing product ranges and manufacturing strategies. She has a depth of experience in the gum, candy and medicated lozenge categories, but is comfortable across all FMCG categories. A key feature of Georgina’s career has been her ability to move between functions and understand the competing interests involved in complex projects. Her ability to find the common ground between marketing, sales, R&D and operations have been key to the successful delivery of many projects. Now based in Melbourne, Georgina’s intellect, experience and perspective make her a valuable asset for companies that are looking for external assistance to drive a complex program to fruition. Georgina's specific capabilities include: Detailed knowledge of confectionery manufacturing processes, ingredients, and formulations.
