Food Consultant, FAPIC Regulatory Expert
 Neil is a Food Industry professional with over 40 years’ experience in a number of disciplines including Scientific & Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Production, and Product Development Applications. He has worked for major international companies such as Nestlé, Mondelez (Kraft and Cadbury) in local and regional roles, and across a number of product types including Dairy, Confectionery, Beverages and Savoury foods industries. Neil has formal qualifications in Packaging Technology and Dairy Technology having graduated from the Gilbert Chandler Institute of Dairy Technology in Melbourne. He has also been a qualified Lead Food Safety Auditor. In his previous role as the Senior Manager, Scientific & Regulatory Affairs, for Mondelēz International’s operations in Australia and New Zealand his roles and responsibilities involve significant participation with Government and Trade Associations including representation on Government working groups as an Industry representative.
In 2011 Neil was awarded the Alfred Stauder award for outstanding services to the Australia and New Zealand Confectionery Industry, having chaired the Technical Committee for the Australian Industry Group Confectionery sector for 10 years. He also represented Mondelez on the Australian Food & Grocery Council Health, Nutrition & Science committee, the Dairy Australia Nutrition & Regulatory committee and on the Food & Beverage Importers executive. Neil was also an ILSI Trustee in Australia and was previously a Director of the Allergen Bureau 
Neil is a Subject Editor for Elsevier Publications online reference module in Food Science covering Food Trade & Management, Food Policy, and Food Regulations & Enforcement.
